Following this period of integration, you will be introduced to an Applied Specialist Client Success Manager who will be matched with you by specialty and geography.

Sean McCleary
Location: New Zealand
Sean is an experienced Strength and Conditioning Coach across both professional and semi-professional team sports including Cricket and Soccer, possessing a Bachelor Degree in Sport Science. Sean uses his applied experience to assist clients in New Zealand and the Asia-Pacific region.
Daniel Romeo
Location: Sydney, Australia
Daniel holds both a Bachelor in Exercise and Sport Science and a Masters in Clinical Exercise Physiology. Daniel has a passion for the implementation of health technology, having previously utilised VALD’s technology with individuals with cancer to evaluate the reliability of VALD products during cyclical chemotherapy and profile side effect fluctuations. As an Exercise Physiologist, Daniel has experience working with individuals with chronic and complex conditions, making him best suited to assisting those in clinical settings to get the most out of their VALD systems.
Jamie Youngson
Location: Brisbane, Australia
Jamie is an experienced Strength and Conditioning coach with close to 20 years working between Olympic sport and professional rugby in Australia and Scotland. Coupled with a Master’s degree in Sports Science, Jamie aims to assist clients in Australia in better understanding how to leverage knowledge gained from VALD systems for higher-level service delivery.
Lucas Galmiche
Location: France
Lucas has conducted research into biomechanics and exercise physiology protocols with some of the best athletes in France. Lucas leverages his background in Sport Sciences when assisting our clients in Europe.
Johannes Zimmer
Location: Germany
Johannes holds a Master of Science in Diagnostics and Intervention in Elite Sports from universities in Leipzig and Stockholm. He has built a career working in elite sports institutions by focusing on sports science research and performance diagnostics. Passionate about enhancing athletic performance through data and technology, Johannes has specialized as a Biomechanist and Data Analyst in Performance Diagnostics, working closely with top-tier athletes and practitioners.
Throughout his career, Johannes has been dedicated to solving complex sports performance problems whilst supporting athletes and practitioners to use precise data-driven insights for decision making.
Luke van Zyl
Location: United Kingdom
Luke is a Physiotherapist with a decade of experience in elite sport. He has worked with elite football teams including The Premier League and WSL, where VALD technologies were instrumental in his clinical routine for rehabilitation, monitoring, and training purposes. Luke applies his knowledge and experience to help clinicians maximise their VALD products to improve patient care and workflow efficiency.
Scott Vallance
Location: United Kingdom
Scott has previously worked as a Sport Scientist and Strength & Conditioning Coach within professional sports clubs in the UK. Scott uses his vast knowledge and experience to assist clients in the UK, Europe, and Africa regions.
Gabriel Manoel
Location: United States
Prior to joining VALD, Gabriel spent over a decade in elite professional sport and clinical practice in the United States, working in various roles across rehabilitation, performance, and sports science. Gabriel holds a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and a clinical doctorate in Physical Therapy. Gabriel utilizes his clinical expertise and applied knowledge to better assist clients in The Americas.
Erica Searfoss
Location: United States
Erica studied kinesiology and exercise science in her undergraduate program and went on to receive her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Erica has experience working as a Physical Therapist in the Washington, DC and northern Virginia area where she practiced as a clinician in out-patient, acute care, home health, and in-patient rehabilitation. Erica brings her extensive clinical background when assisting clients in the Americas region.
Tom Milroy
Location: United States
Prior to joining VALD, Tom spent over 10 years working in elite collegiate and professional sport as a Sports Scientist, Strength & Conditioning coach, and High-Performance Director.
He holds a Master’s degree in Health and Human Performance, and has worked with athletes across all sports in rehab, return-to-play and performance enhancement settings. Tom applies his practical experiences to help clients in the Americas.
Karim Derqaoui
Location: United States
Prior to working with VALD’s Client Success team, Karim had spent over a decade working with elite football clubs in a variety of coaching roles. Earning his Masters in Exercise Physiology, Karim is the key Client Success contact for our high-performance clients in the Americas region.
Chris Gering
Location: United States
In 2017, Chris earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University. A former injury-plagued collegiate baseball player, he is passionate about maximizing human potential. Alongside managing a mobile PT practice and photography business in Seattle, he travels frequently around the globe. His interests in sport, rehab, and data analysis led him to VALD in 2022, where he balances clinical expertise, problem-solving, and creative expression. Chris has worked at VALD as a Business Development Manager at VALD for 18 months, prior to moving over to the Client Success Team where he feels his applied knowledge will help our clients successfully implement their technology into their business context.
Craig Whitworth-Turner
Locations: United States
Craig Whitworth-Turner has over a decade of experience in elite sports, specializing in sports science and strength and conditioning. He has held key roles at the University of Pennsylvania, working with the men’s and women’s basketball teams, the NBA's Philadelphia 76ers, N.C. State University. His international experience includes consulting for NK Istra 1961 Football Club in Croatia and working with The Nike Academy. Craig holds a Doctorate degree in sport & exercise science from Liverpool John Moores University
Caroline Smith
Location: United States
Prior to joining the Client Success team, Caroline amassed experience collaborating with collegiate-level athletes, with a focus in football, baseball, and basketball. Possessing a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, she is presently pursuing a Masters in Science with a specialization in Sports Performance and Coaching. Caroline's expertise is more effectively applied in the performance sector of sports, utilizing biomechanics and objective data.
Michael Dhaliwal
Location: Canada
Michael lives in British Columbia, Canada, and has worked in various performance and health settings, including sports science, high-performance sport, and rehabilitation. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Coaching and is a certified Strength and Conditioning Coach. Currently, Michael is completing his MSc in Kinesiology with a specialization in Skill Acquisition. Michael’s expertise focuses on knowledge translation about collecting accurate and reliable data and allowing for the application of that data to inform the decision-making process.
Martin Lara
Location: LATAM
Languages: Spanish and English
Martin has experience working with professional football clubs at both academy and first-team levels. He is a Certified Performance and Sport Scientist by the NSCA. Martin holds a Bachelors degree in Sports Science and a Masters in Sport Performance Optimization. He brings hands-on experience to our performance clients in LATAM and Europe, ensuring they receive top-notch support and guidance.
Johan Pretorius
Location: South Africa
Prior to working with VALD, Johan has worked in various settings as the Head of High Performance where he worked with both medical and strength and conditioning teams to ensure that athletes were aligned for optimal performance.
Johan holds a Bachelor of Science in Biokinetics, Masters in Sports & Exercise Medicine, and a second Masters in Sports Science. As a qualified Biokineticist, Johan integrates his passion for health and performance into his role at VALD.
Living in Cape Town, South Africa, with his family, Johan is passionate about sports and helping individuals reach their full potential.
